"Welcome to Flight 2024"

Happy 2024, my friend!! To make sure you are ready for 2024, here is some great "pre-flight" advice from one of my mentors...

 We are prepared to take off into the New Year.

 We ask that all carry ons, such as: Regrets from your Past, Mistakes & Fears, be placed under a seat behind you.
 Please make sure your Personal Power and Gratitude Attitude are secured and locked in, in the upright position.
This aircraft is a Boeing 20-24 and is equipped with 1 main exit and 2 upper deck exits for every disempowering thought.
 
 All self-destructive devices such as shame, guilt and doubt should be turned off at this time. All blame, hurt, and limiting beliefs should be stowed away.
 
 Should we lose altitude under pressure, during the flight, reach up and pull on gratitude & love, connect to source and breathe in deeply. Once your faith is fully and automatically restored,  we then encourage you to assist other passengers in need.

GOLDEN SUNRISE TONIC 
 * 2-4oz NingXia Red
 * ½ tsp Golden Turmeric
 * 1 scoop Inner Beauty Collagen
 * Coconut water
 * 1 drop Lime Vitality essential oil
 Add NingXia Red and coconut water to a glass, then add in powders and mix with a handheld milk frother. Add Lime and mix again, then pour over ice (if desired) and enjoy!
 
 DAILY BEAUTY BOOST
 
 * 4oz NingXia Red
 * 1 scoop Inner Beauty Collagen
 * Water or organic orange juice (sparkling, mineral, plain)
 * Optional: 3 droppersful Mineral Essence
 
 Add NingXia Red and water/juice to a glass, then add collagen and mix with a handheld milk frother. Pour over ice (if desired) and enjoy!
 
 BONE BROTH COLLAGEN COCOA
 
 * ½-1 cup organic chicken bone broth
 * ¾-1 cup organic milk of choice
 * 1 tsp organic vanilla extract
 * 2-3T organic cocoa powder
 * 1-2T organic maple syrup or coconut sugar (to taste)
 * 1 scoop Inner Beauty Collage
 
 Heat milk and broth on the stove over medium heat. I like a 1:1 ratio of broth to milk, but you can use less broth if you're not used to it. Whisk in cocoa powder, vanilla and collagen, making sure the liquid is warm without boiling. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired and enjoy!
 
 CINNAMON MAPLE COLLAGEN LATTE
 
 * Organic brewed coffee or espresso of choice
 * 3T raw, organic heavy cream
 * 1-2T maple syrup (to taste)
 * 1 scoop Inner Beauty Collagen
 * 1 drop Cinnamon Bark Vitality Essential OIl*
 
 Add all ingredients except oil to a mug, then use a handheld frother to mix well. *For less intense cinnamon taste, dip a toothpick into your Cinnamon Bark oil, then swirl it around in your coffee.
 
 DAILY ADRENAL COCKTAIL
 
 * 4-6oz organic orange juice
 
 * 1T raw, organic heavy cream
 * Pinch pink Himalayan salt
 * 1 scoop Inner Beauty Collagen
 Add all ingredients to a glass and mix with a handheld frother.
 
 COCONUT LIME ADRENAL COCKTAIL
 
 * 6-8oz organic coconut water
 * 1 scoop Inner Beauty Collagen
 * ½ tsp pink Himalayan salt
 * ½ fresh lime, juiced OR 3 drops Lime Vitality
 * Crushed Ice
 
 Mix coconut water, salt, lime and collagen with a handheld frother. Add ice and enjoy!
 
 PEPPERMINT MOCHA SMOOTHIE
 
 * Large handful organic spinach
 * Frozen banana
 * 1 scoop Inner Beauty Collagen
 * 1T organic cocoa powder
 * 1T organic maple syrup or agave (to taste)
 * Lots of ice
 * Raw, organic milk (or milk of choice) to desired consistency
 * 1 drop Peppermint Vitality essential oil
 
 Add all ingredients to a blender and mix well, then enjoy!
 
 OTHER WAYS TO USE
 
 * Mix 1 scoop of Inner Beauty Collagen with 4–8 ounces of water or your favorite hot or cold beverage daily.
 
 * Stir 1 scoop into a cup of your favorite hot tea such as Spiced Turmeric Herbal Tea.
 
 * Blend 2–4 scoops into the batter of baked goods. (Don't use in recipes calling for cooking temperatures above 380° F.)

Ready for some new favorite oil combos and uses!? 

Anthropologie Inspired Blends: Diffuse it, Roll it, Spray it!! 
These are some of our favorite diffuser blends for the fall season, but they make great rollers and sprays as well! The recipes below are for a standard diffuser and can be adapted easily!
  • To make a diffuser bomb, multiply the quantity of each oil by 10-20 and place in a dropper bottle with a pretty label. (You can also reuse old YL bottles and add a bamboo dropper top.) 
  • To make a 10mL roller, have the total number of drops around 30-50 and fill with carrier of choice.
  • To make a 2oz spray, multiply the drops by 3-5, add a splash of witch haze and top with water in a glass spray bottle and add a label.
MULLED WINE
  • 2 drops Clove
  • 3 drops Orange
  • 3 drops Cinnamon Bark
  • 2 drops Nutmeg
PUMPKIN CLOVE
  • 3 drops Stress Away
  • 3 drops Clove
  • 2 drops Nutmeg
  • 2 drops Vanilla
  • 3 drops Cinnamon Bark
FALLING LEAVES
  • 1 drop Vetiver
  • 3 drops Sage
  • 3 drops Nutmeg
  • 4 drops Idaho Balsam Fir (or other tree oil)
SUGAR COOKIES
  • 4 drops Vanilla
  • 4 drops Cinnamon Bark
  • 2 drops Lemon
  • 1 drop Nutmeg
Chai Spice Wool Dryer Balls 
Make your laundry smell like fall with these scented dryer balls! Place 3 drops of each oil onto each wool dryer ball and let sit for a few hours before use (recommended to make sure no oil spots transfer to your laundry). Or simply drop one of each oil onto a ball and use immediately.
  • Organic wool dryer balls
  • 3 drops each per ball: Cardamom, Cinnamon Bark, Nutmeg, Vanilla


  • Fall Spice Thieves Cleaner, 3 Ways! 
    Use as you would your regular diluted Thieves cleaner to Thieves all the things and enjoy a bit of Autumn at the same time!!
    Pumpkin Spice Thieves Cleaner
    • 16oz glass spray bottle 
    • 1-2 capfuls Thieves Household Cleaner 
    • 10 drops each Orange, Cinnamon Bark essential oils
    • 5 drops each Ginger, Clove, Nutmeg essential oils
    • Fill with distilled water

  • Falling Leaves Thieves Cleaner
    • 16oz glass spray bottle 
    • 1-2 capfuls Thieves Household Cleaner 
    • 10 drops each Tangerine, Northern Lights Black Spruce, Bergamot essential oils
    • 5 drops Patchouli essential oil
    • Fill with distilled water

  • Caramel Apple Thieves Cleaner
    • 16oz glass spray bottle 
    • 1-2 capfuls Thieves Household Cleaner 
    • 10 drops each Bergamot, Cinnamon Bark, Stress Away essential oils
    • 5 drops each Nutmeg, Tangerine essential oils
    • Fill with distilled water

  • Vanilla Spice Room Spray 
    To a 4 oz glass spray bottle add:
    • 10 drops Vanilla
    • 10 drops Orange
    • 8 drops Cinnamon
    • 5 drops Clove
    • 3 drops Cardamom
    • Distilled water
      Shake well and mist throughout your home!

  • DIY Autumn Foaming Hand Soaps 
    Custom hand soap scents for each season are a fun way to cozy up your home, make great host gifts and are simple to make!
  • A few favorite scent options:
    • Chai Spice: 6 drops Cardamom + 4 drops Cinnamon Bark + 4 drops Clove + 4 drops Ginger + 2 Vanilla
    • Orchard Stroll: 6 drops Bergamot + 4 drops Tangerine + 4 drops Cedarwood + 4 Rosemary + 2 drops Lemon 
    • Autumn Leaves: 5 drops Northern Lights Black Spruce + 5 drops Vetiver + 4 drops Tangerine + 4 drops Cinnamon Bark + 2 drops Vanilla

      Here's to a magical fall, my friend.

I have a secret for you...

Let me tell you a little secret…if you don’t show up for you, no one else will, and you will not be able to serve and love to the best of your best ability.

If you don’t prioritize showing up for yourself, you will desperately need others to show up for you…you’ll always wonder why so and so isn’t supporting you or doesn’t show up for you, or didn’t remember your birthday…you’ll look for all the reasons why others should do something for you, be there for you, help you…

Guess what? The only person responsible for showing up for you is…you. Ouch, right!? I get it! It’s so easy to sit and feel sorry for ourselves, wondering why others don’t treat us the way we treat everyone around us, why they don’t help us, why they are mean…and then we complain and get needy. It’s not pretty…LOL

What if you took responsibility for everything that happens in your life…remembering that life happens for you, not to you…You are responsible for the life you are creating, or not creating, the habits you have or don’t have, …it’s all up to you.
The sooner you and I   realize that we don’t need others support, the better. You are the best one to support you. You believe in you. You know what you know. You know what you need. You can have your own back. Don’t expect others to. Have enough belief in yourself for everyone.


How’s this for an example…let’s talk about your birthday…always been a touchy subject for me, along with Mother’s Day and our anniversary. I am one who loves to go all out for everyone on their day, remember all the anniversaries, all the things…but then there are always some who forget my birthday, who don’t do anything for our anniversary (we will not mention any names…LOL) or those who don’t do or give what I want or expect…and how do they know what I want or expect if I haven’t told them? Sometimes I don’t even know what I want myself but yet I expect them to somehow know. How crazy is that? The responsibility lies with me to create the experiences I want for myself on my birthday, anniversary, Mother’s Day or any other day of the year.

So, last year, because of this teaching, and the song “Til You Can’t” by Cody Johnson, Sawyer, Delaney and I drove to NC to surprise my crew there. We arrived on my birthday, and completely surprised them. No one ever thought I would make that trip…including myself. I faced my fears, had my own back, and with a little help from a fierce momma’s heart, made the trip.  And you know what?? It was the best birthday ever…and I didn’t get a thing. 

So, stop blaming others for your crappy birthdays or holidays, or any other day. Create your own special magic. Take responsibility. Show up for yourself. Have the kind of cake you want. Get the gift, take the trip, do the things…Create the life you want. Don’t expect others to do it for you…especially if you aren’t willing to show up for yourself. Those expectations are just disappointments in waiting…

Only you can take responsibility for your days or the person you want to be…

You will enjoy life much more if you learn to depend on yourself.

Let this sink in. Only you know what you need. Don’t wish your husband knew…or wish he could see…or what he should…or what you wish the kids knew…or did…No one is equipped to live your life like you. Radical self-care will give you a better attitude toward others with no entitlement, resentment or bitterness, because you show up for yourself and have your own back.
